Passion flower! The flower is wild looking and smells wonderful, and the vine is aggressive!

A camouflaged looper of the wavy-lined emerald moth. It decorates itself everyday with leaf or flower matter.

I love my serviceberry tree. This year, so did the cedar waxwings!

This snapping turtle was crossing a county road. I gave it the right of way!

Dragonfly- one that stayed still for me.

Busy month of May! My jelly feeder became a popular feeding spot for this Baltimore Oriole.

Walked by this bush in my yard, and did a double take. I hope this black rat snake will thin out the voles in my flower beds.

The meal worm feeder became a family picnic spot for the bluebird family.

The orchard oriole came to check out the jelly feeder, too.

I believe this is a white-footed mouse. He sat in the driveway and let me take pictures.

                                                       Apple blossom time!

                                                      Mrs. Wood Duck

                                                        And Mr. Wood Duck!

Did I say it was apple blossom time?

                                             That means it's mushroom time!

A February turtle out "sunning" itself. The day was overcast- but warm!

This squirrel made me think he's trying to use his tail as a blanket.

Painted turtles out "sunning" on the 28th of December! Winter has been kind, so far.

We're surprised! We can't remember

waking up when it's December.

But we'll gladly get some sun

before cold comes and spoils our fun.
