Noticed a big bird up in our sycamore tree, sitting apart from the crows.

 What a nice surprise visitor!

 This October has been warm and wet. Lots of different mushrooms popped up!

I planted a serviceberry that had a few berries on it. Didn't take long for this cedar waxwing to find them!

These were clearance plants that I planted last summer. The wait for blooms was worth it!

 

This young bluebird learned quickly where to get a meal worm dinner. Waiting its turn.

They came. They sang. They made a feast for the birds!

The apple trees were in full bloom, and then this happened. Unfortunately, it came with a very cold drop in temperature. Not good for an apple crop.
